Design:
We offer a full-service in-house design team; streamlined and efficient, with hands-on experience with materials, processes and execution. Island Dog Signs can design to match an existing look and feel or create a brand new image. We can also create custom designs from initial concepts and hand sketches to final construction drawings with all necessary fabrication specifications.

Signage Fabrication and Installation:
Island Dog uses a variety of production and fabrication techniques to create your unique signage packages. Our processes include waterjetting, lasercutting, flatbed routering, milling, large format digital printing and more. Signage can range from simple code-required signs to comprehensive wayfinding systems. We are always on the lookout for new materials and processes to incorporate into your next project!

Digital Printing:
Island Dog Sign Company offers wide format digital printing services via our Roland SOLJET SC-540 EX -- banners, posters, stickers and more!. This printer produces stunning graphics directly onto uncoated materials without harmful fumes or expensive ventilation systems. Best of all, these results are robust, weather- and waterproof and are UV rated for three years against fading.

The Roland SC-540 is a heavy-duty inkjet that can print up to 300 sqft/hr at 450 dpi for the production of signs, banners, POP displays and vehicle wraps; or it can print up to 1440x1440 dpi with variable droplet technology for photorealistic clarity. We typically print banners at a resolution of 360x720 and self adhesive vinyl at 720x720.

The SC-540EX can also automatically contour cut printed graphics without reloading or repositioning. For laminated graphics, we can simply remove the prints, laminate and reload them for precision cutting. The SC-540EX has a new four-point optical registration system that automatically realigns the cutting path and compensates for skew and distortion.

Acceptable file formats include pdf, .eps, .tif, .jpg and any files compatible with Adobe Illustrator 10 and Adobe Photoshop 6. Any fonts should be converted to paths.

The SC-540EX can print onto a wide range of media types (most medias 54” wide with a printable width of 52.5”) that include but not limited to:
• Banner material
• Adhesive backed vinyl
• Paper roll stock
• Canvas and art papers

We also have a pressure sensitive laminator in house for the application of overlaminate films as well as application of printed media to rigid substrates. Some of the rigid substrates available include:
• Foamcore
• Gatorfoam
• DiBond
• MDO Plywood
• PVC Plastic
• Acrylic
Any other rigid substrate to the thickness of ½”
